10/10 production and 10/10 lyrics for me. Sure this album has a couple more mainstream sounding songs, but that heartfelt nature of Game on this album prevails. Its the album's sheer ability to really be honest about one's shortcomings, insecurities and pent up anger.

But its not the 'gangster rap' sound that makes me love this album. He didn't succumb to the mainstream callings and he ended up creating, for me at least, the best gangster rap album ever. He took everything he learned and crafted a sheer unadulterated, no holds barred album when everyone thought he was down and out. Now lets not be stupid here, its obvious that Game won the beef with 50 and that he is in a much better position now than he would be. He was pretty much on his own and he had his back wholly against the wall. What Game went through to release this album. But then I look back at the history of Doctor's Advocate. Both are 100% classic hip hop albums and at times I do think The Documentary is better. I was debating with myself whether to include this or The Documentary in the list. A lot of you were wondering when a Game album was going to show up, considering I am one of the few Game stans actually active on KTT.
